TAMILNADU COMMON ADMISSIONS (TANCA) 2013

For Tamil Nadu Common Admissions 2013, individual communications based on the information furnished by the candidates in the application have been sent to candidates calling them to appear for counselling. However, any changes found during verification of originals or later is subject to change of rank or rejection. COUNSELLING SCHEDULE: Counselling will be held during August 21 29, 2013. The date, time and session cutoff mark are given in Anna University website http://www.annauniv.edu/tanca2013/schedule.pdf Candidates are advised to be present two hours before the commencement of the counselling session. VENUE: The counselling will be held at the Centre for Entrance Examinations and Admissions, Anna University, Chennai 600 025. GATE CATEGORY: The eligible candidates who have applied and whose GATE 2013 qualifying marks are equal to or above may appear for counselling along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of receipt of individual communication. NON-GATE CATEGORY: The eligible candidates who have applied and whose TANCET 2013 marks are equal to or above may appear for counselling along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of receipt of individual communication. IMPORTANT NOTE: More number of candidates than the seats available have been called for counselling. Hence the candidates are advised to check the vacancy positions in the website http://www.annauniv.edu/tanca2013 before coming for counselling.

FEE PAYMENT: Candidates attending counselling should make an initial payment of ` 5300/- for General category candidates (` 1150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) by Cash or Demand Draft at the time of counselling at the bank counters available in the counselling centre. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Secretary, Tamilnadu Common Admissions, Anna University payable at Chennai (obtained not earlier than 19.08.2013). The initial payment of ` 5000/- or ` 1000/- only will be adjusted towards tuition fee at the time of admission in the respective institutions.
