TEST TYPE: 1.1 To perform acceptance check and tests on circuit breakers rated 600v AC nominal voltage or less.

2. TEST EQUIPMENT: 2.1 Micro-ohmmeter 2.2 Megohm Meter (Megger) 3. PROCEDURES: 3.1 Circuit breaker acceptance checks and tests shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and shall include the following visual and mechanical inspections and electrical tests performed in accordance with NETA ATS. 3.1.1 Visual and mechanical inspections: 3.1.1.1 Compare nameplate data with specifications and approved shop drawings. Inspect circuit breaker for correct mounting. Operate circuit breaker to ensure smooth operation. Inspect case for cracks or other defects.

Verify tightness of accessible bolted connections and cable connections by calibrated torque-wrench method. Inspect mechanism contacts and arc chutes in unsealed units.

Electrical tests: 3.1.2.1 Perform contact-resistance tests (ductor test) using Microohmmeter to check for loose connection on contact assembly and improperly adjusted contacts. 3.1.2.2 Perform insulation-resistance tests (megger test) using Megohmmeter to check the insulation integrity of the circuit breaker. 3.1.2.3 Adjust breakers for final settings manufacturers requirements. in accordance with the
