    McLean Period 5 English 11 28 September 2013 Reflection In my Americana essay, I wrote about the definition of being an American. My definition of an American is to do want as you please. Meaning that you actually do want you want. My artifact to resemble the definition or Being American is a mirror. I chose a mirror because a mirror reflects things or it gives a reflection of what is happening. Since my definition is to do as you please, a mirror reflects what you do which is being an American.
