Why I Chose Skateboard as my Passion Project

I chose skateboarding as my passion because I find it interesting. I also want to know the history of it. Im sure you want to know as well?

When was the First Skateboard Made and who Invented it ?

Skateboarding was first started in the 1950s. But it all started when California surfers got the idea of surfing the streets But know one really knows who invented the skateboard, but several people, came up with the similar ideas at the same time. They also claim to invented it too

What did the First Skateboard Look Like ?

These first skateboards started with wooden boxes or boards with roller skate wheels slapped on the bottom the boxes turned into planks, and eventually were producing decks of pressed layers of wood similar to the skateboard decks of today

Timeline of Skateboarding History

1950 s At a point in the 1950s skateboard were born in California 1960 Popularity of skateboarding grows rapidly as many people start to ride a skateboard 1963 Skateboard brands have grown up and start holding competitions

1965 Many people assume that skateboarding was a fashion popularity of skateboarding grows still
1966 Skateboarding continues, but it starts to dies out 1972 Frank Nasworthy invents skateboard wheels. Until this point, skaters used clay or even metal wheels. These wheel spark new interest in skateboarding

1980 Skaters continue to skate, but they design personal style to the skateboard
