Write a paragraph in which you describe how you realized that your relationship with one of your parents was changing for the better or worse OR how you realized that your roles as parent and child were becoming reversed.

It would be an understatement to say that my father and I have a bad relationship. He moved out of our house February 29th, 2012, and I have not spoken to him since that day. However, before he even moved out things had not been going well for us for years. Ever since I was in middle school my father and I did not see eye to eye, but it was January 9th 2009 when I knew that he and I would never be on good terms. This was when he and I had our first physical fight. After we fought I knew that it would happen again; and it did. Our relationship has only gotten worse since that fight. We have no acknowledgement for one anothers existence. But this is a good thing, because I believe that God took him out of my life for a reason, and everything that has happened only made me stronger.
