The Shuffle and Cut Weekly Reading There is what is called a Weekly Reading...

They are fine as all random shuffle and cut card readings go... I think if the intent is true.....the answers or info you seek will be fine....since it is a random shuffle cut reading and the layout of the Camp Reading is more of one of convenient design, I dont think it really matters on the shuffle/cuts and timing. I personally dont use this type of Weekly Reading as there are real mathematical ones... my Mercury Days start on Tuesdays this year and last Tuesday I started on Plate 74.....today is Wednesday, so it is my Venus Day....I prefer looking at the actual Weekly Chart derived mathematically so I can see the real cards that I have each day this week, along with the chart for the week as a whole... that way I really learn what the Cards mean. I have a shuffle and cut reading laid out in Book 1, but I use it more as a Horary one. With the second hand on the 12 I start shuffling and after one minute I set the deck down. At 20 seconds after I cut the deck once (taking part of the deck off the top and placing the bottom part back on the top). 20 seconds after that (when the second hand hits the 8) I cut the deck again and then when the second hand hits the 12 I cut the third and final time. Shuffling the deck for one minute creates a time diameter and cutting it 3 times creates a circumference that envelops the diameter..... This represents the same circle and diameter from the heavens above (from Willis Whitehead in the Mystic Thesaurus)..... I then lay out the cards in 7 lines and 7 columns with the last 3 cards along the top, just as in a regular plate...I then derive a chart from it just as I would from one of the 90 regular plates..... You will have all your cards plus a complete return chart as well.... to find the answer you are looking for ... you can look at the chart as a whole, plus specific info under the planetary position that rules that area. I plan on writing a more detailed book on this.... but once you get the shuffle, cuts and layout down... you can basically read it like a normal plate and chart. Thomas :)
