We chose this project because Hydrogen fuel cell can alternate the petrol and diesel in order to reduce

harmful emissions. We researched different methods of producing Hydrogen. Our experiment was water splitting by electrolysis. The goal of our experiment was to find out how much electrical energy per unit mass of Hydrogen can be produced in Hydrogen cell. Although we had to deal with some problems during the experiment such as lack of equipment or safety issues (highly flammable Hydrogen, corrosive acid), we solved them by wearing lab coat, gloves and eye-protection to minimise the risk of danger. During the project, my practical skills have improved and essentially I gained some scientific knowledge about the future technology.
