Coordinator of Admissions: My name is Norma Salas and I am a junior here at The University of Texas at El Paso, I am an excellent student devoted to accomplishing my goals and determined to excel in the College of Health Science. I am writing to express my interest in applying to your social work program here at UTEP. I learned about your social work program through a counselor from The El Paso Community College, he is an alumni from your university. He exposed me to the great work the Health Science Programs have done throughout this bi-national community. After learning how UTEP has innovated with its cutting edge research and impacted in such a favorable way the lives of not only its students but the surrounding community as a whole. I realized, I to would like to be part of this movement and expand my knowledge within these scholarly halls.
