    In 1945 there was a World War. Sadako Sasaki is an important. She was born January 7 of 1943, in Hiroshima.

    She was a japonese girl. When the atomic bomb was dropped she was two years old. She was at home. Her best friend was Chizuko Hamamoto. When she was 9 years old ,she was runing and she started to get ill. And doctors told her that she had leukemia. Her friend helps her with the cranes. The cranes were important cause if she does 1000 cranes , she will live. There is a memorial in Seattle Peace Park. The world conmemorate the Peace Day August 6.
