Reflections on Algebra The girls did not catch on to the topic as well as the boys.

The teacher later told me that it was because the boys are better with functions and algebraic approaches. Next time, I teach this lesson I will use more of a graphic approach to this assignemnt, because the cooperating teacher said it that girls learn better from a model. So next time, I will use more graphics, get the students to make models or use contruction paper and make their own poster to show the steps in rewiting these radicals.
