    POETS OF THE WEEK

    This school year, each student will have his or her chance to be a Poet of the Week. During their time as a Poet of the Week, students will have an opportunity to share some of their favorite works of poetry. These will include: individual poems and/or collections of poems (anthologies), a favorite poet, and personal poetry. The week before each student is scheduled to be a Poet of the Week, he or she will receive a reminder and a new copy of the guidelines. These guidelines will be referred to as the Poets Plan. Prior to being a Poet of the Week, students will need to complete this plan. (A copy of the plan can be found on the back of this note.)
