Yarn: Mixed -100% thick cotton 8/4 2 mm knitting needles Begin with sweater front piece: Cast on 28 sts, work 3 rows rib st, K 1, P 1. Continue with stockinette stitch until work measures 8 cm. Cast off 5 sts on each side = 18 sts remaining = turtle neck. Place the work aside and work back piece the same. Join the two collar pieces together, like this: Row 1: First part, 17 sts, knit st, knit tog last st with first st of the other part, knit st, 17 sts, knit st = 35 sts Row 2: Purl stitch Row 3: Purl stitch Row 4: Knit stitch and increase 3 sts evenly across row.
