BYLAW 5 DUTIES OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Executive Chairperson 5.1.

.1 Chairs meetings of the Executive Committee and the ESA Council 5.1.2 Is the official spokesperson for the association 5.1.3 Is the liaison between the association and the Faculty 5.1.4 Shall be an ex-officio member of all committees 5.1.5 Shall be a signing officer of the association together with the Treasure 5.1.6 Is responsible for appointing the second AMS education councilor Associate Chairperson 5.2.1 Assumes the duties of the Executive Chairperson in his/her absence 5.2.2 Acts as the representatives to AMS and is an AMS education councilor 5.2.3 Responsible for acting as or appointing a Senate representative 5.2.4 Responsible for acting as or appointing an ombudsperson 5.2.5. Assumes such other duties as are requested by the Executive Chairperson 5.2.5 Shall be a signing officer of the association together with the Treasurer Secretary 5.3.1 Maintains the minutes of meetings of the Executive Council and Executive Committee 5.3.2 Receives and sends correspondence relating to ESA and maintains records of sa 5.3.3 Administers the rental of lockers in the Neville Scarfe Building Treasurer 5.4.1 Shall be a signing officer of the association together with either the Executive Chairperson or the Associate Chairperson 5.4.2 Prepares an annual budget for the association for approval by the ESA Council and for the information of members at the January general meeting. 5.4.3 Keeps accurate financial records 5.4.4 Reports on current financial status to each meeting of the ESA Council. Student Services Coordinator 5.5.1 Establishes sub-coordinators and/or committees as required to carry out approved activities for members of the association including, but not limited to: - social events ( Welcome to campus events, BBQ Pub nights, etc.) - grad celebration activities - grad photos - intramural sports - Education clothing sales 5.5.2 Monitors the work of sub-coordinators and/or committees

5.5.3 Reports to the Executive Committee and the Council on the status of activities
