Initial Notes Concept Sketches (4) Next Steps
Initial notes
I wanted YOU to be the centerpiece the album cover. Youre an
artist whose work comes from a place of personal expression.
The coloring book motif makes this a little trickier, so I aimed for These concepts are presented without the album title/credits and
are sketches, not nished art. Look at the ideas, not the execution!
This is the simplest of the four concepts. The coloring challenge for fans is in the individual strands of hair (youll get some crazy dye-jobs!). This one will be the most clear at small sizes. The interpretation of the album title is in the coloring book style.
Slightly more complex. The straight lines are transformed by your prole into a personal expression. The coloring challenge for fans is in the vertical stripes - they can make them psychedelic, gentle rainbow, pastels, etc. This one is fairly clear at small sizes.
Going for a classic princess coloring book vibe. I love the recent photos of you in this outt. Butteries are symbols of personal transformation. Lots of fun areas for fans to color in. Less clear at small sizes but depth-of-eld invites the viewer in.
High concept, a more classic approach to an album cover. The coloring book house gives way to a full-color world (source photo here is just a concept demo). Youre leaving a constrained world and inviting the listener along. Color pop reads at small sizes.
Next Steps
List the four concepts from most favorite to least
favorite. We can arrange a Skype call to discuss.
necessary and then proceed to nal art. None of these concepts are time-intensive to bring to nished level.
