)(If voted to power, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N
will declare ally the four languages of the Provinces as national
languages. This was stated by finance minister and PML-N
senior Vice President Sartaj Aziz during a dialogue on the
manifesto of his party here on Monday.
The discussion was organized by the Sustainable
Development Policy Institute (SDPI). Mr. Aziz said after
partition there were eight national languages in India but a few
years later that country declared another six languages,
including Kashmir, as the national languages. Declaring
national languages in Pakistan will decrease problems and
conflicts with the provinces. He contented.
