Lakshya 2016 envisages considerable growth in the infrastructure segment both within the country and outside India. We have also laid considerable emphasis in growing international business in this segment. Looking to the growth achieved by Infrastructure IC and with a view to tapping future potential, it has been decided to restructure the Infrastructure IC into two focused Independent Companies with effect from 1st January 2013 as given below : 1) Transportation Infrastructure Independent Company consisting of Roads & Runways (Domestic) BU Roads & Runways International Segment Railways Strategic Business

Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. D.K. Sen as Executive Vice President & Head-Transportation Infrastructure IC. Mr. Sen will continue to operate from Mumbai.

2) Heavy Civil Infrastructure Independent Company consisting of Metros BU Defence Segment Ports, Tunnels & Special Bridges BU Hydel BU Nuclear Construction BU

Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. A.L. Sekar as Executive Vice President & Head- Heavy Civil Infrastructure IC. Mr. Sekar will continue to operate from Chennai. Both Mr. Sen & Mr. Sekar will report to Mr. S. N. Subrahmanyan, Member of the Board & Senior Executive Vice President (Infrastructure & Construction) for their respective ICs.

The composition of the IC Boards will be announced in due course. Management wishes both Mr. Sen and Mr. Sekar success in their new roles and is confident that they will continue to provide leadership for profitable growth. Management believes that this restructuring will help the organization in achieving the goals set under Lakshya 2016.
