Personal I have been a teacher in the Fort Bend Independent School District for nineteen years. As a third grade team leader at Sugar Mill Elementary, I have led a team by communicating, planning, interacting and getting feedback from the team members, all for the benefit of the children. As a regular education teacher for second, third and fifth grade I used my training in special education in an inclusion model; co-teaching with special education personnel. During my time in Fort Bend Independent School District I have had a great deal of experience in collaborating with teachers, administrators and parents all with one thing in mind, the children.
