ASUS Router R MA AC Clone e Setup Pr rocedure

Intr roduction: :
This s document describes d ho ow to set up an a ASUS wir reless router r (such as RT T-N16, RT-N13U, RT-N N15, etc.) to connect to the t Internet if your cable modem doe es not renew an IP address to your r ASUS route er due to MA AC binding.

1. Connec ctthecablemodemsnetwork n cab bleintoyourdesktop/n notebookPC C.

2. Openawebbrows serandnavigatetoafe ewwebpag gesandconf firmthatth he cablemodem m hassuccessfully s yconnected dyourPCto otheInternet*.

Note: If f your PC is not connected to th he Internet, , try and re eset your cable c modem m by unplug gging the po ower to the e cable mod dem for a fe ew seconds and thenpo oweritback kon.

3. Usingth heWindow wscommand dprompt,findthe12digit d MACad ddress (Physica alAddress)assignedto oyourPCan ndcopyitdown.
