Managing EPM (Project server 2010) and the dynamics of PMO: Guidelines for the Project Report: 1. 2. 3. 4.

Project team will select organization with the consent of the trainer. Any student found in the plagiarism of more than 10 % will be marked as fail. TWO persons are allowed as a team to work on a project report The body of the project report should not be less than 25 pages of material, written in Times New Roman, font 12, 1.5 line spacing. 5. Properly binded report along with the CD to be submitted to the exam office. Section A: 6. Project team will briefly describe the culture of the organization (Matrix, functional or projectized). 7. Describe issues faced by the selected organization in the absence of the PMO or highlight issues if PMO exists. 8. Describe how PMO implementation will benefit the selected organization. Section B: 9. Identify steps for the establishment of the PMO in the selected organization. 10. Highlight the challenges faced during the implementation of PMO. 11. If PMO exists identify areas of improvement along with the implementation strategy Section C: 12. Explain how EPM implementation will help address the issues highlighted in Section A. 13. Implement EPM Project server 2010 in the selected organization 14. Select workflow of EPM - Project Server 2010 for the selected organization. 15. List Business drivers for the selected organization and prioritize them with justification. Section D: 16. Choose one of the project in the selected organization and write Charter and Scope document as per the template shared in the class. 17. Work break down structure (WBS) to be attached in the report. 18. Attach following MS project 2010 project reports along with GANTT Chart and Work breakdown Structure (WBS) in the annexures section of the Project Report. Overview: 1. Project Summary 2.
