Public : Private Dialogue is seeking applications from a suitably qualified Veterinarian to prepare a translation of Draft Legislation into Amharic.
Experience required: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
in Government Veterinary service with at least 5 years holding a senior
position not lower than Director of Case Team, as well as:

An excellent understanding of the functions of the Veterinary
Services of Ethiopia together with experience in enforcement and implementation of Veterinary legislation would be a distinct advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team of

Amhara Development Association (ADA) is an indigenous not-for-profit, nonpartisan, local nongovernmental association established in 1992 to contribute to the efforts of improving the economic
and social status of the people of the Amhara National Region through community participation and
mobilization of resources from members, supports and the donor community. Currently, ADA has more
than 2.9 million registered members who contribute to the development endeavors that the association

INVITATION TO BID

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) invites wax sealed bid from eligible, qualified
contractors of WWGC-5 and above with license valid for the current year and registration
certificate from the Ministry of Water Resources for furnishing the necessary labor, materials
and equipment for the construction and completion of Sebunte earth dam project, in Moyale
woreda, of Borena Zone, in Oromiya National Region State. Bidders should attach VAT
registration certificate.

Konso development Association (KDA), a local NGO, invites eligible bidders to submit
their prices and terms and conditions for supply and transportation of GI pipes and
fittings with different size (see the attachment found at KDA office in Konso) for the
execution of its community based sustainable water supply, sanitation and hygiene
promotion project at Teshmale schemes sites located in southern Nation, Nationalities
people Regional State (SNNPRS), Konso woreda which described under detail technical specification.
Project location: Teshmale Gravity spring water supply scheme is located at about
557 km (via Hosana-Arbaminch-Karat) from Addis Ababa and located in Konso woreda,
southern Region. The access road is asphalt road except the last 5kms which is all
weathered road.
1. Detailed specifications and general information for the aforementioned
pipes and fittings can be obtained from KDAs Cashier against a nonrefundable payments of birr 200 (two hundred) during working hours, 08:30
am- 12:30 pm and 01:30-05:00 pm Monday through Friday.
2. Bid must be accompanied with renewed trade licence for 2005 E.C. (2013
G.C), suppliers list Registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic development, VAT,TIN Registration certificate and other supporting
letter/s from concerning whether they have paid the taxations for Government
and have to submit these requirement/s. As previous experience supported
with certificates from client/s is /are mandatory.
3. Bidders should submit their offers in wax-sealed envelopes to KDAs office
cashier on or before 30 Oct. 2013 until 11:30 AM and must be accompanied
by a bid bond amounting to two (2%) of the offer in the form of bank guarantee
or CPO.
4. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representative who

Support in identifying key management, technical and operational capacity needs in the field
of health and nutrition for MoH staff at Woreda and Zonal level and provide technical support

Participate in Concerns nutrition surveys/ assessments, coverage surveys, etc. and ensure
that they adhere to both national and international guidelines and protocols.
Facilitate information sharing and lessons learned across the programme areas through all
feasible means, including review meetings/ regional workshops, experience sharing visits and
document sharing.
Forge and maintain good information flow and collaboration between Concerns nutrition survey team, the MoH, nutrition coordination fora and the relevant regional government authorities e.g. the DMFSS/ ENCU/ Nutrition Technical Working Group, etc.
Monitoring and reporting
In coordination with the Project Managers/ Programme Managers, support programme monitoring and documentation and timely reporting to ensure effective programme implementation
and evaluation of programme impact.
Regularly visit Concerns health and nutrition programmes both in development and emergency contexts.

Representation
Represent Concern Worldwide Ethiopia and participate in technical meetings/ national working groups on nutrition and related subjects (at regional and field level as appropriate).
