I am very interested in further particulars and in filling out an application form when the position is formally posted. My relevant qualifications include my recently earned Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Ferris State University. The process of obtaining my degree has sharpened my leadership skills and given me have a better understanding of the processes necessary to institute change and improved collaboration in a health care setting. Also of note is my current position as a perinatal educator for Metro Health Hospital. In this role, I was responsible for teaching prepared childbirth classes to expectant parents in classes of various size, lengths and design. During my tenure, I successfully revised the curricula to better reflect the mission and culture of the Childbirth Center at Metro Health.

With my passion for maternal/infant health and education, experience in perinatal education and recent experience in Labor & Delivery, I believe I can be a real asset to the leadership team at the Childbirth Center.
