REPORT ON THE SECURITY SITUATION INTRODUCTION The aim of this report is to give an overview of the general security situation

and problems in our summer school and also to outline a few suggestions for improvement. In order to write this report we interviewed a number of students. GENERAL SAFETY At present, the general security situation seems highly unstable in our school. Recently, some unfavorable circumstances had concerned the students, as the only precaution taken is locking the classrooms when needed. Students are increasingly worried about this and many of them started to feel unsafe. SECURITY PROBLEMS The majority of students claim that the front door is not locked during the day, so any stranger from outside can enter the school. Also, they complained about the lack of security systems, such as cameras and security lighting and the absence of a security guard. FOR IMPROVEMENT All the students agreed that the front door should be locked during the day. Also, more than 70% of the interviewed agreed that a safety system should be installed and a security guard should be hired to patrol the premises. Students recommended that the college authorities should consider introducing individual safes in the main office, and also ID cards should be introduced, which would have to be checked by a security guard. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS In the light of the above, we believe that the measures suggested by the students should be taken into consideration by the School Administration,in order to increase the level of safety in our school, to make our students feel comfortable and secure.
