What are we up to?

We are currently writing our own stories! The students decided whether they wanted to write their story about their favorite animal, their favorite sport or their best friend. Once finished with these books, we will be sharing them with each other! We have also been working on our number counting. We have mastered numbers 1 to 10 and are now working with numbers 1120.

Upcoming Events
October 31, 2013: Halloween Spooktacular Event Games, Food, Prizes, Oh My! Come join us for some Halloween fun from 5-8 pm in the gymnasium. There will be a costume contest so wear your most boo-tiful costume! Free Admission. November 6, 2013: Little Farmer Field Trip November 27-29, 2013: Thanksgiving Break Classes will resume on December nd 2 .

Parents Note
Please continue to read with your students on a daily basis. The continual exposure is crucial for your child s reading development. Students will be bring home two library books this week, so please read them with your child. There will be a permission slip coming home on Monday, October 28 for our Field Trip to the Little Farmer on November 6. Please look for it in your childs take home folder.

Show and Tell

Our next week Show and Tell students are Emily and Lisa. Bring in your favorite item to share with the class!
