Of these 6 images, I have picked 3 that could potentially be on the front cover of my magazine, these are the ones with a thick, red border, whereas the ones with the thin, red border were just considered. The first image that's an option was chosen because around the person in the image is an empty, green space. This negative space could be used to have secondary images, pugs or titles. The second option could be used as the space around the person could be deleted, creating negative space for other necessary items. Also, the picture isn't blurry, and the black and white effect creates an old, retro feel. Finally, the third picture also has negative space that can be used. The action of the person in the picture can be easily related to a title, for example "Why I had to keep quiet, which would then relate to the article inside.
