2 By the end of the year 6 primary schooling, pupils will able to write using appropriate language form and style for a range of purposes Learning Standard: 3.2.2 Able to write with guidance c ) messages Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to 1) Create a message based on the story heard CCE: Contextual Learning, Values and Citizenship Teaching Aids: Story board, Mobile phone, pictures, drawing papers, marker pen Set Induction (5 minutes) Teacher pretends to type a messages on a mobile phone and pupils guess what is the teacher doing Pre Writing (10 minutes) 1. Show story board and pictures of the main characters in the story. The Magic of Respect. 2. Pupils describe each character. While writing (15 minutes) 3. Pupils are divided into groups then distributes drawing papers and marker pen. 4. Each group writes a message based on the description given on the drawing papers. Post writing (20 minutes) 5. Pupils present their messages to their friends. Ask for feedback from their friends. Example: Do you agree with this groups message? Closure (10 minutes) 6. Pupils write the messages in their exercise book. Reflection: Time: 8.30-9.30a.m.
