enterprise in Pakistan located at Taxila. HMC have the possessions to handle large projects with demanding delivery schedules. HMC provide manufacturing services both on our own or customers design. HMC have gained rich experience in designing and manufacturing of large projects through teamwork with internationally reputed engineering organizations. Operations Management is an area of management concerned with supervision, designing, and controlling the process of production. It involves customers requirement and efficiency as well.

Departments and Management techniques: Production Systems:

HMC follow Part production technique. In the first category it have job shops, manufacturing cells, flexible manufacturing systems and transfer lines, in the assembly category they have fixed position systems, assembly lines and assembly shops (both manual and/or automated operations. But HMC lack controlled & automated technology used in modern Era.

Efficiency and Effectiveness:

Price: Price involves raw materials purchase price, maintenance cost and upgrade costs. Quality: 9001 Certified. It has its own quality control cell with up to date equipments. Time: Punctuality because of labour work. Flexibility: Mix, Volume

Configuration and Management:

HMC are following Economic Production Quality instead of using Economic Order Quantity and it tag along a push approach to inventory control and production planning, which takes as input both the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Bill of Materials (BOM) and gives as output a schedule for the materials needed in the production process.

Production and process layouts are being used in HMC taxila.

Design and Modeling:

HMC are lacking modern design techniques and is more dependent on manual Drawings then CAD & CAM.

Safety, Risk and Maintenance:

HMC have poor maintenance policies and it doesnt fulfill health and safety criteria. It doesnt follow Predicted Maintenance technique. The main value of Predicted Maintenance is to allow convenient scheduling of corrective maintenance.
