Currently this fund is at $4,201.20. Our benevolent offering will be received next Sunday during both services for the Holland Rescue Mission. November Thank Offering During the month of November, Cedar Church will collect our annual Thank Offering for the work of OPC Foreign & Home Missions and Christian Education. The theme of the 2013 Thank Offering is "Treasure in Jars of Clay" from 2 Corinthians 4:6-7. We give thanks to the Lord that Cedar Church contributed $6595.00 to the annual OPC Thank Offering last year. Lets make it our goal to exceed that amount this year. Please remember this ministry generously.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Your Voice is Needed Its not too late to be a part of the musical ministry of Cedar for the Christmas season. The choir meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Please be sure and join the choir this afternoon at 4PM. Lords Supper & Fellowship Luncheon Next Sunday We will celebrate the Lords Supper next Sunday morning. After morning services, please join us for our monthly fellowship luncheon at 12 noon. Please bring your own place settings and beverages; as well as a main dish and a side dish to share! Calling All Musicians Young & Old! Lynn Igo is organizing our soloists and duets, vocal or instrumental, for the Christmas Luncheon on December 8th. Please contact Lynn if you can contribute or if you have any questions. Interested in Church Membership at Cedar? Pastor Steve will hold a membership seminar Wednesday, December 11th, from 78:30 PM for anyone interested in learning more about church membership at Cedar. Please register through our Connection Cards, or speak to Pastor Steve. Christmas Outreach- Join us at the Igo home for Biggby coffee, Igo style on Thursday, November 21 from 7:00-8:30 PM. We will be sending out communications to new residents in our community, inviting them to join us in worship during the Christmas season. There are 1,000 households to invite so everyones help is needed! Ottawa County Jail Ministry On Sunday, November 24, Cedar church will be leading a special Thanksgiving service at the Ottawa County Jail. There are spots for two more people to join the team that Sunday. Please see Pastor Steve if you would like to be a part of this ministry.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS Volunteers Needed - Loves Treasures Resale Shoppe is looking for volunteers in prep, clothing and display. Morning and afternoon shifts are available and training is always provided. If you are interested, please contact Corrie at corriek@loveinthenameofchrist.org or (616) 662-3300 ext 118. Ministry Project Needs - Love INC is currently undertaking additional ministry projects by partnering with local organizations and agencies to supply baby items to those in need. 3 dozen of each of the following new items are needed: baby bottles, baby blankets, new baby outfits (size 0-3 months and 6 months), baby onesis, baby shampoo, baby lotion, diaper ointment, baby pacifiers, baby bibs, baby socks, baby washcloths, baby bath towels, baby teethers and baby rattles. Items can be brought to Love INC, 3300 Van Buren Street, Hudsonville. A tax receipt will be provided. Contact Tonia at 616-662-3300 ext 122 with questions. Blood Drive - Please give blood on Friday, November 8, at the Hillcrest Christian Reformed Church, 3617 Hillcrest Road, in Hudsonville. Craft And Vendor Show - Harvest craft sale to raise funds for City on a Hill ATLAS! The sale will take place at City on a Hill, 100 S Pine St, Zeeland on Friday, November 8, 3-7 pm and Saturday, November 9, 9am-2pm. Many vendors with creative items. Veterans Day Assembly - Zion Christian School welcomes all military veterans and the Zion community to attend its annual Veterans Day Assembly to be held in the gym on Thursday, November 7, at 2:30pm. This 40-minute, student-led assembly will include a presentation by a guest speaker as well as special singing and band performances by Zions students. All veterans and supporters are welcome to attend.
