POINTS IN POLYGON
Load both the PAKISTAN and earthquake layers in QGIS. The country layer is POLYGON and the earthquake layer is POINT. Set project CRS enabling on the fly. MANAGE> CHECK ftools plugin. Vector > analysis tools > points in polygon Save output file Check the attribute field there will be another column added showing that how many times the earthquake (point) did hit the region (polygon)
