Why were you interested in this job?

-Ive always wanted to make an impact on society and to help people, especially the sick. I like to interact with people and help make them feel better. What do you like about your job? -When my patients tell me that Ive help them feel better. What do you dislike about your job? -Having a patient who is terminally ill and I cant help that person. What is a typical day like? -Being assigned to take care of 6 patients or more and also helping other nurses. What problems have you encountered at work? -I have not encountered any problems so far. What do you do? (What are the duties/functions/responsibilities of your job?) -Patient assessment, medicine administration, patient and family teaching, and patient admission. Do you have a set schedule (i.e. - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or are the hours flexible? -Schedule: 7am to 7pm What are the Education requirement(s)? Associate degree or Bachelor degree (recommended)

What are the greatest pressures, strains or anxieties in the work? -Having too much work to do with little time. Do you have any advice for anyone interested in this career? -This is not an easy job. Be prepared to work hard but in the end its a rewarding profession. If you are truly interested in helping people I would advise you to have a nursing career.
