More scouts, some operating undercover, may also be deployed depending on events on the ground and the reports we shall be getting from the field.

(c) All headteachers, heads of centres, proprietors, parents and candidates are strongly warned against involving themselves in any acts of malpractice or irregularities in the examinations. Very firm action will be taken against any person who will not heed this warning. Parents are particularly encouraged to watch the conduct of exams at their childrens centres and report any anomalies immediately to safeguard the future of the children because if results are withheld or cancelled due to malpractice, the pressure eventually shifts to bear on the parents. It is painful to candidates, parents, schools and even UNEB to cancel results. Therefore, in addition to being on the lookout for malpractice, parents should desist from engaging in activities that
