October Sports and Societies Climbing Update The CUC Climbing Club has kicked off to a busy start,

with indoor and outdoor sessions and trips all over Cornwall. Wednesday 2nd saw over one-hundred people packed into Granite Planet climbing centre for a general introduction to indoor climbing, probably the most people every crammed in! We had beautiful weather for the first outdoor trip to Roche Rock near St. Austell on Sunday 6th, taking two minibuses loads of beginners to get to grips with real rock. This week two convoys of cars are heading up to the picturesque Trewavas on the other side of the Lizard to get a taster of some smaller granite sea cliffs, before we hit the big walls at Lands End- and of course well be in Granite Planet every Wednesday, beginners always welcome.
