9th Lit Standards

Fall 2013

In small groups, work with the standards. Each group gets one page of standards. These determine What and How we study this semester. The Common Core Standards set the curriculum for EVERY 9th Lit class in every city in every state! Now, determine what this is saying by pulling out the key elements of each standard. First, identify the nouns (what we will do) and verbs (how we will study it) in the standards below. Next, sketch out a flowchart that shows the relationship between the nouns and verbs of your assigned standards please draw a separate flowchart for each standard! Finally, draw a final version of each flowchart on separate pieces of chart paper.
