In this story, the author opens the story by describing the main characters of the story and the situation at the moment. There are four girls whose names are Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy who live with their mother because their father, Mr. March is in the Civil ar. Meg is the eldest sister of the four about si!teen years old. "he is a devoted person and is supposed as the mother of all her sisters. "o, sometimes she groans to herself that she also wants to have a rest time for herself at home.
