Voice mail from Heidi to Richard Richard, this is Heidi calling [inaudible] on Wednesday evening. Um. I really don’t know, I really don't know why Iam calling. Except that I've worked with you so ‘much over the last [inaudible] years and I thought that perhaps both of us released, was released from that experience at the commission. Um. I just want you to know I think you are terrific, and um I always thought you were terrific. [hope you know [inaudible] a knight in shining armor and I always thought you were a wonderful guy, and um it breaks my heart to think that um you are under attack um for being anything otherwise. Um, and um Michael sends his personal best wishes. Um. I, I just know someday I hope um when we are kicking around in heaven um we will be able to drink and laugh about this the whole time, Um. But to the extent that I have played a role um in a scenario that should not have unfolded for you, um, 1 am beyond, beyond belief sorry, and and and um I just want you to know that, and I think you should know I think the world of you, With all my fist shaking at the Chicago Tribune that they [inaudible]. Um. Lalways thought, that you know, you and I were fighting battles against those on the outside, um and I don’t know that that story is ever going to get vindicated in this process, but I, you know, just can’t thank you enough for the years of mentorship and guidance and support you gave me and to the extent that I wasn’t able to make that as clear as I could today, ‘um, you should add that to the list of complaints you can very very decidedly have with me. Um, But anyway, I wanted to say that by calling your home phone, um (laughing) but I didn't want to send an email. Um, So someday I hope we will get a chance to talk and I'l get a chance to give you a big hug. And I hope you know that throughout all of this, um, I remain your most ardent admirer.
