Effectiveness of the proposal program based on the Web 2in light of the
Marzano Model in the development of teaching performance of teachers
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the proposal program based on the use of the Web 2 in
the light of the Marzano model - the dimensions of learning-in the development of teaching performance
of teachers through teachers training within the program of educational qualification of the University
of Al-Azhar in Egypt The sample consisted of 54 Mathematics teachers were divided into two groups
were used approach quasi-experimental (design : Multiple Time - Series Design) and the study included
independent variable: the proposed program the dependent variable: the teaching performance of teachers
and they were the main features of the program through two main axes are integration between them and
represent it as follows:
Theme I: using Web 2tools such as: Facebook & Math forum & YouTube and Theme II : characterization
using of Dimensions of Learning which was designed by Marzano and his colleagues in building a
vision for learning and how it happened and it can improve the teaching performance if built in the light of
the interaction between the five dimensions identified by the model. Then the experimental treatment was
carried out for 11 weeks. The data gathered were analyzed and several conclusions were found such as the
effectiveness of the proposed program based on the use of the web 2 to improve the teaching performance of
teachers. The study recommended the importance of employment sites and web 2 tools to improve teaching
performance in light model ofthe dimensions of learning by Marzano.
