Writing Lesson Plan Template Big Idea: Picture This! Standard: EL.1.6.

Students will look at their picture they drew o their pet or their riends pet and what it needs to survive. The students will present their writing to the class i they volunteer. Writing: The students will be preparing a writing piece that they share with the class on what their ani$al needs to survive. The students are writing to dig deeper into their understanding o ani$als and to collaborate with their class$ates. % will con erence with the students as % loat around the roo$, providing assistance when needed and reading over their writing to provide reco$$endations and suggestions or revisions. 9nce the students have inished their writing pieces, % will have all the students sit on the carpet. Those students that volunteer to share their writing will present to the rest o the class.
