FORMATIVE
TIMELINE: Students create a timeline of the events that led up to the U.S. intervention into the war. RESEARCH PAPER CHECKLIST: Students Use the checklist to monitor their progress on their research paper, and their choice of topic. REVISED MAPS: Students will create revised maps that would accurately represent the occupation and expansion of territories pre and during WWII. QUIZ: On the political actions that were taken by Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt VS. the actions taken by Mussolini and Hitler.

SUMMATIVE
ORAL PRESENTATION: On the final influences and impact that WWII had on a particular group of people or country.

FINAL RESEARCH PAPER: On the declining role of Great Britain and the expanding role of the United States in world affairs after
