What would this world look like if we took all the technological inventions away? Would we be able to survive? 5. How will the role of computers change in the next century? Can technology ever replace humans? 6. What do you use the Internet for? (movies, studying, chatting with friends..) What is your opinion on social networks? 7. How can modern technology help with education? How will the teaching and learning methods change in the future? 8. What do you think about addictions to technological gadgets, such as cell phones or computers? Task 3 Student A: ! You are an android-robot seller. Convince your customer, an elderly woman, to buy an android that would help her out in her household. State the advantages which it provides, what it can do and why is it worth spending !500 on it. Do your best to sell it! Student B: " You are an elderly retired woman living on your own, with some occasional visits of your beloved grandchildren. A young sales assistant is trying to convince you to buy the latest invention - an android robot that would be able to help you out in your household. He keeps telling you how necessary it is for you, but you still don't understand why would you, as an active grandmother, need some bunch of metal and wires. Refuse his offer, explaining why you can do well without it.
