Billing Training with Kierra

I walked her through the billing process, repeatedly asking was she taking notes she responded yes. She said there was something wrong with the computer so she couldnt print so I printed the documents. We did two claims and I told her to do the last by herself and call me when she finished because I could look at it from my computer to see if she did it correctly. I also walked her through the end of day close and printing a receipt. At the end I asked if she had any questions and did she feel comfortable enough to do this and she said yes.

Side note Asked what she knew about billing she said she went to school for billing I told her I understand but sometimes if you dont use it you lose it so just give me an idea of what you know. She said she knew you put the numbers on the CMS form and I asked what numbers she said diagnosis codes and procedure codes. I told her for the most part that was correct but we would be doing it electronically not on a form.
