Screenwriting 10 scene outline

Scene 1 - Tarot Card Reading Tommy enters a psychic's tent to receive a tarot card reading, the cards shown will directly relate to the narrative journey. Scene 2 - Informed of the death of his sister He returns home and plays a recorded answer phone message, telling him of his sister's death, she had cancer and is his un-identical twin. Tommy immediately decides to travel home for the wake. Scene 3 - Blamed by his Mother The family house on a cliff overlooking the sea, Tommy and his mother take a walk down the beach and end up having an argument about his sister, his mother blames him for not being around whilst she was ill and Tommy tries to defend his career, eluding to a falling out with his sister. "You used to be two peas in a pod, but you haven't been back in years." Scene 4 - The Wake Tommy is at the wake, it is a grim affair and amongst the well-wishing and 'sorry for your loss', he gets a migraine. This spurs him to take a walk.

Scene 5 - The Hermit and The Fire He walks into a wood and is confronted by a hermit at a fire, he takes a drink from him and enters a sleep. Scene 6 - The singing crystal Tommy is inside a crystal cave with luminescent plants, he encounters a singing lady. He tries to ask her about the cat but she does not listen, he strikes a nearby crystal and the sound rings over her voice, she then talks to him. Scene 7 - Wayshrine Tommy surfaces from the water in a new cave, there is a way shrine and cloaked man at the shore, he is impressed with

Tommy and glad he has arrived but pushes him on through the portal, forcing him to continue his journey. Scene 8 - The Babbling Mist Tommy meets a strange fool within the mist, he
