Civil War Project If The Dead Could Talk A Living History Museum

SSUSH9 - The student will identify key events, issues, and individuals relating to the causes, course, and consequences of the Civil War.

Instructions: You will create your own character that fought in the American Civil War. You are responsible for coming up with specific details about your character. This project will be graded on specificity, creativity, and historical accuracy. Due date: December 2, 2013

Some things to consider are:

What is your name and what is your family background? What city and state are you from? What is your position on the war? Why? Did you choose to fight for the Union or the Confederacy? Did you fight in any famous battles? (Gettysburg, Antietam, etc.) Were there any specific events in these battles that made you famous? What was your job/rank in the war? How was it important to the war effort?
