MY IDEAL VACATION

On my ideal vacation I’d like to go to CAPE “LA VELA” to know people, to swim in the beach, to eat typical
food and to know the culture.
I think, It’s a good place. I need to check information about tickets and vacations plans.
I should call to the Travel Agency. I guess, I have to pay with a credit card. I think, I like CAPE “LA VELA”
because is beautiful and quit. I need to pack sunscreen, sunglasses, sandals, a bathing suit, a towel, soap, a
brush, a toothbrush, insect repellent, and a hat. I don’t need a tent, a sleeping bag and a hair dryer.

TURISTIC ACTIVITIES
You can walk around in Wososopo between Guajjira and Venezuela. You can also visit the Serranía Macuira. You can
visit the different beaches and Puerto lópez, Bahía Hondita, Bahía Honda, Neimao, Puerto Lodo, Portete and Cape “la
Vela”.
You can walk to the Serranía de Cosinas and cross for Serranía de Macuira from the Siapana to Nazareth;
There is also different kind of services like camping, bicycle trips, sea sports and active intercultural exchange with
community Wayuu (handcraft, Yonna dance and play the typical drum called Kasha).

You can also take a safari tour by car between different places with duration around two hours where you can observe
the typical animals and vegetation present on the warm desert. During the entry expedition you can buy beautiful
Wayuu handcrafts like typical bags, hats, handcuffs, etc. You buy a typical relax device called “Chinchorro”, that is
installed between two trees to take a good sleep.
 TYPICAL FOOD

To have a complete experience there is necessary to taste the traditional dishes like “Chivo
asado”, fried fish, sea food, “pollo criollo”.
