Canadian Suspect Threatens to Kill Sheriff Arpaio for Third Time

Arrested Again by Mounted Police
(Phoenix, AZ) Refusing to comply with a Canadian court order, a 16 year old suspect was arrested again yesterday for threatening to kill Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. This is the third time this suspect has threatened Arpaio. The suspect posted the new threat to the Sheriffs website last Thursday saying I hate you so much that Im going to kill you with my glock. Rest easy. The suspect appeared before a Canadian court official who released the teen on his own recognizance, this despite the fact that the suspect said he will continue making these threats until he is put in jail. The first threat against the Sheriff was also directed at his wife, children and grandchildren. Made in July of this year, the teen said he would murder Arpaio and his family and bomb his house. The second threat, for which the suspect was arrested, was made in October. In that threat, the suspect promised to open fire on the Sheriff and his wife and make sure the Sheriff simply vanishes. The Royal Mounted Police arrested the suspect on this third threat and strongly advised him against contacting Sheriff Arpaio or the Office in general. The teen is slated to appear in court later this week on the new charges. Both the Royal Mounted Police and the Sheriff believe the best result would be to incarcerate this teen and get him help. Arpaio says the Royal Mounted Police have been excellent to work with on this threats case and he is appreciative of their efforts to get this suspect in custody. But the Canadian court officials who continue to release this suspect, Arpaio says, are overlooking the potential for serious violence perpetrated by this suspect not against the Sheriff but others. This suspect has serious issues, obviously, Arpaio says. And while he may not come so far to kill me, he may be twisted enough to commit some act of violence closer to home. If that comes to pass, the court will have to explain why it didnt do more to prevent this person from committing harm when all the signs where obviously there.
