How to run Eva Perf for data collection and troubleshooting

/y default *VA0erf ill capture data for all managed arrays, -his can result in a very large file if run for an e1tensive period of time, So for e1ample you ould use this command ill sample every minute for . minutes, evaperf all -cont 60 dur 300 -csv -ts2 >AllArrays.CSV Notes: 1- these commands need to run from the commandvie station from a dos indo $- e need to C2 to the directory that has the *VA perf program %- the first $ commands are to set the friendly names of each entity on the *VA so that they appear #y their names and nor #y their 33N &- -he %rd command is to list the *VAs and ma4e sure that their names appear in the output and not 5ust their 33Ns .- -he &th command is the actual collection command and the 26S indo needs to #e al ays open for the duration of the collection, Closing the 26S indo 4ills the collection command (- the 7cont 111 is specifying the interval in seconds of the collection8 1 one minute collection is appropriate for trou#leshooting purposes, 9- the -dur 1111 is specifying the duration in seconds of the collection, Note: -he pass ord is that of the SMS or SMA, :sually localhost can #e used in place of the SMS;SMA Hostname, <f you don=t enter the pass ord at the end of the command8 it ill prompt you for it, *1ample: C:>0rogram ?iles>He lett-0ac4ard>*VA 0erformance Monitor+evaperf fnh localhost administrator pass ord: Verifying access ,,, Host --------!ocalhost :sername Access ------------administrator @es ----
