The $nion (east) is perhaps a $T%& students most fa1orite place to hang out and ha1e a bite to eat. 2t consists of 1arying restaurants and many ping.pong and pool tables. The $nder Graduate 0earning *enter( or as its more li"ely "no! as/ $G0*) is/ as the name !ould imply/ !here many of the undergraduates/ li"e myself/ ha1e a ma<ority of their basic classes.

3oss Store Associate 2 ha1e only been employed for about t!o months/ ho!e1er/ 2 ha1e high goals and and e pectations for myself. 2 am already pro1ing to my bosses that 2 am a 1ery reliable and hard !or"ing indi1idual since the day 2 had been hired. 2 ha1e sho!n them by pro1iding e1ery customer 2 encounter !ith 1ery polite and !onderful customer ser1ice, also by gi1ing my bosses and others in higher authority than me the respect they deser1e. 2 do this in the hopes of being recogni6ed and becoming store associate of the month. 0i"e 2 had stated earlier/ 2 am 1ery ne! to the !or"force/ so 2 do not "no! much. What helped me 1astly though !as the store associate handboo" that !as pro1ided to me and the other associates that also coached me through much of !hat !as needed of me. +ust as !e ha1e our o!n special 1ocabulary at the uni1ersity/ !e also ha1e our o!n 1ocabulary in the store. -4) is short for -anager on )uty/ !hich is typically my bosses under the store general manager. S&S is Store &rotection Specialist/ and their <ob consists of ma"ing sure our store is al!ays secure and that nothing is being stolen from the store. Youth Group What !e do in the youth group is pro1ide much of the less fortunate !ith the things that they need/ either through fund raising or through dri1es (food/ supplies/ etc.). The ad1isers and myself pro1ide the community(consisting of schools/ soup "itchens/ and other charitable organi6ations in %l &aso) !ith fliers and emails basically informing them that if they need any of our help/ to <ust call us and !e !ill do our best to help as soon as possible. The ad1isers and 2 communicate !ith the other youth group members !ith acronyms that only probably !e !ould understand. 7or e ample/ !hen !e as" if another member can ma"e it to a meeting or not/ !e as them to 0-8 (let me "no!). Then !e get informed of a ne! organi6ation or family in need/ !e <ust send them either 729 or 429/ !hich means either 7amily 2n 9eed or 4rgani6ation 2n 9eed.
