The action tackes place in Denmark around year 1200. The queen becomes a widow after the king Hamlets death.Two month later she gets married.Her hasband is the king Hamletsbrother !laudius."ut the young Hamlet is deeply sad and he wears all the time black clothers.He is #ery suspicious about his fathers death and he thinks his step father is the murder because he spoke to his dead fathers ghost. The ghost told him that the king wans re#enge.Hamletis #ery confuset almost gets mad.He is afraid of that his step father could watch him and Hamlet pretends to be mad so that nobody should be surprinsed at what he does or says. $olonius %phelias father is toldto watch Hamlet."ut when a group actores come to &lsinore Hamlet thinks of a trick the atores will perform a play where his father is killed by !laudius.'hen %phelia hears his idea is con#inced that Hamlet is realy mad.!laudius agrees the performance and the play begins.During the performance the king is not calm.Hamlet watches !laudius reaction and the play is interrupted by !laudius lea#ing.The queen is upset and calls for Hamlet .(n her room $olonius hides himself behind a curtain.'hen Hamlet comes in he thinks that the king is hidden behind thet curtain and he stabs $olonius instead of the king !laudius. %phelia is so disturbed so that she drowns her self in a rie#er .Her brother wants to re#enge his sisters death.)eanwhile Hamlet is send by the king to &ngland but he succeeds to come back and !laudius arranges that a cup of pinset wine should be drieenk by Hamlet and also a duel between his step son and *eartes poisoning the rapier.The queen drinkes from the wine and she dies.Hamlet is dwounded and poisoned e+changes the weapons with *aertes and stabs the king who dies too. ,o the king Hamlet is re#enged. The last wish of Hamlet is that -ortinbras shoud became the king of Denmort.
