Altar Boy

I was an altar boy once. For Holy Angels, I often answered the call And stood by tending The Body, Blood, Divinity, Soul and Wonder of Christ. For the Carmelites, In addition to serving Mass, I held the Communion plate For the cloistered Carmelite nuns And stood by tending The Body, Blood, Divinity, Soul and Wonder of Christ. Now I stand alert At St. Michael the Archangel Aware of the jihadis death cult, The socialists and communists And the horror of Hollywood, Yet I still stand by tending The body, Blood, Divinity, Soul and Wonder of Christ. I am now an altar man.
