Historical Events. The story of San Pedro de Urab comes from the settlers who came to the forties, particularly in 1948, from San Pelayo, San Bernardo del Viento, Lorica, San Antero, Ceret, San Carlos, Puerto Escondido, Los Cordobas, Monteria , Valencia, and those who migrated from wood industry of the Emery of Boston in the path of San Juan to El Carmelo, Carmelo to El Cayman, from the Antioquia and Choco people who came by the Banana Hub, from Medellin to Monteria, and Monteria to Valencia as far as San Pedro de Urab.
