Abstract:

GAY MARRIAGE.
Nowadays, we can observe that real debates are occurring
dealing with gay rights, namely gay marriage. Even if some
countries have already declared this union as legal, the rest of
the world is more or less interested in same-sex couple’s
marriage recognition.

The aim of this research was to prove that gay marriage is a

controversial subject in nowadays society because of
homophobia and the Church, which are products of society
itself.

This presentation mainly relies on the analysis of the basis

of an unfair society and what it has produced as regards of
intolerance. Information has been found on the internet to
provide examples and some ideas are extracted from some
work dealing with gay militant actions.

Finally, the results of this analysis showed that society

always put minorities apart, for that reason; it is the origin of
gay people problems and also the principal cause of gay
marriage recognition reject.

As a conclusion, it is important to mention that,

nevertheless, gay people want to break taboos and are
determined to fight against society for their rights and its
products, even if it will take time to their marriage to be
recognised.
