This week in class we will be looking into the causes of the Civil War and the early part of the war. We will look into how the political figures on both sides. We will explore the mindsets of people on both sides and show the harsh realities of warring against your own neighbors in some cases. On Monday I will send home with the students a permission form for our upcoming trip to the South Carolina State Museum. We will be leaving December 6th at 8:00AM. I would also like to invite parents to join us. We will eat lunch at the Museum as it has been provided for us by the Booster club. This Friday the 22nd during class we will start the movie Gone with the Wind. If you have any objections to your child watching this movie please do not hesitate to let me know.
